CT Open Wrestling
The CT State Open Wrestling Tournament has just completed its scratch meeting and wrestling should begin at about 4:15 PM.
You can follow the tournament at
Search for the CT 2015 Open tournament.
KapWrestling also has an app called TourneyAlert that you can use to track matches, individual wrestlers, etc.
Wilton has one wrestler, Nick Rende 106#, in the tournament. Wish him luck!
Class L Update
Wrestling is about to begin. They’ve just announced that because of tomorrow’s weather concern they will wrestle first round of consolation matches (round of 16 losers) tonight instead of tomorrow.
We will start weigh ins tomorrow at 8 so any wrestlers who make it through will have to be here at 7:30AM.
It isn’t certain yet, but finals, 3/4 and 5/6 matches will likely run simultaneously tomorrow so the tournament can be completed before the storm.
We will keep you updated. If you want to follow the tournament go to trackwrestling.com and search for Class L. It will have live updates etc.
