John Smith’s OSU Camp @ SUNY Cobleskill – June 26-30 (Team) , June 30-July 4 (Competition Camp), June 26-July 4 (Intensive)

We know several of you are planning on attending camps this summer, but wanted to pass along this information on some other camps that are reasonably close by and likely to have top-level coaching.  Those of you who can’t get away for a sleep-away camp, consider attending one of the local camps listed on the Camps & Clubs page.

USA Wrestling Cards

To wrestle in most off-season tournaments, or to participate in club wrestling, you probably will have to get a USA Wrestling Card.  Many, but not all tournaments will sell cards on-site.  For example, the organizers of the  May 16th Danbury PAL tournament do sell cards, but the folks running the New Rochelle tournament on the 15th do not.

The fee is about $35 but may vary (upward) depending on who’s running the tournament or the club.

If you have enough lead time, you can order a card online at the USA Wrestling website. Click the link below to start the process.   It may take some time to get the card however, so plan ahead.

You can also try local clubs or camps.  Often they will sell cards.  See the Camps & Clubs tab above for contact info, locations, etc.
